Re: Drilling holes in clutch bell housing??? Anyone try it??
Sorry I should have been more specific. I already leave the rear housing off, I was talking about drilling around the actual clutch bell that the clutch shoes grab on.

Re: Basically stock with 9.8 -1 gears outcome...
It probably is my compression testers that's shot but I could have swore that 100psi was what I was told by more then one person. Both my elites aredead nuts on my gauge so I assume they are fine and it's jut the gauge that's bad I mean they both have under 1400 miles and are very clean. One questio...

Re: Basically stock with 9.8 -1 gears outcome...
Stock pipe yes. And cbr1000 if I had 171 psi compression I'd have to run race fuel from the factory. 100psi is factory spec. I'm actually at like 107 I think.

Motors are stock with perfect compression at just over 100: clutching is a keli variator, 2k grabbers, 1k center, airbox tab removed with I think I drilled to an 87.5 main to be safe and right now I'm running about 40 grams or so....

Re: 2001 elite sr50 max rpm????
What? I'm curious at to what the max rpm is for power on these motors? I bought the tach because I was basically spinning my tires when tuning. Because I had no clue what rpm I was running. Any info would be great.

2001 sr50 gear change question
I have an 01 sr50 that I'm looking to upgrade a little. Right now its basically stock with the air box tab removed, upjet, keli variator, and higher engagement springs. I am looking to put a set of 9.8-1 gears in it for a little more top end speed but I'm concerned about climbing hills. Will the low...

Ok so I have a 2001 sr 50 that ive have now for over a year. I have added a keli variator, 1k grabber springs, airbox mod with bigger main jet, and I think that's it. Im looking for some more tested and tuned mods. I want to keep 50cc, and I do not want an exhaust. I'm thinking more like different s...

Can't dial in jetting? Any advice?
So I have a 2001 sr50 which is bone stock except for some light clutch work. I just opened up the second tab in my airbox to try and get just a little extra for free but I'm having a problem. I can't figure out what size jet to use. I heard 85 or 88. I used a drill set and found a chart to show what...
