Re: SA50p Progress
Have you let it reach operating temps? Let it run 10-15 minutes then see how it is.

Re: removing piston from caliper
Like i stated above...this is off my 95 Yamaha AXIS. If i knew of a place to get parts i would get a new caliper (and the body panels that are missing)veedubh20 wrote:just get a new caliper , dont waste time overhaul!!!

Re: Auto perferences (moved from cutting cylinder skirt...)
You dared me to call it rice!
Really, your car is very nice and done up right. I'd gladly drive it . Not rice at all.
I'd post a pic of my ride but you wouldn't want to see it, it's just a truck.

Re: removing piston from caliper
I'll try your ideas. I'll have to be easy on the heat though since the caliper is off my Yamaha Axis and I don't know if I'd find a compatible seal if I kill it.

removing piston from caliper
any ideas on getting this piston out of the caliper?
Soaked with PB Blaster and tried using compressed air to pop it out but it's stuck.

Re: aftermarket handlebars on an elite
I think bacaracer has the bmx stem on his race bike. I would think it would be safe. Maybe he will chime in.

Re: aftermarket handlebars on an elite
I haven't personally done this but i think you use a BMX stem on the stock forks. Handlebars can be mounted to the BMX stem. I'm doing the same thing, only on a Jog.

Re: Ozi Elite 50
My af05 did about 47 but that was modified (variator, shaved head for higher compression, etc). I can't remember all i did to it.Jimmid709 wrote:The US Un- restricted model apparently will do 40 Mph plus.

Those speeds are typical if it's all stock. The restricted pipe and ramp plate keep you right at 25 mph.Jimmid709 wrote:I thought my scooter was restricted as I can only get 55 - 60 Km/h (34 - 37 Mph).

Re: 1987 elite SE50P de-restrict
The pipe that is the same diameter all the way to muffler is restricted.
The pipe that goes from narrow to wider is not restricted.

I'd like to see the Top Trophy bore on them charts.
I'm curious if it's as good as a lot of people claim.
