Re: scoping oregon
My wife is a RN and I've got an Electronics degree. If there are good jobs, we could probably get one. We both have them here, but again, mine is a hour from my house Not that we need more people, but Austin is booming, and you would score a sweet job with an electronics degree with all the semi-co...

Re: bringing a canadian scooter to usa
I have actually imported a Dio from Canada. You have to get a customs broker to handle the transfer/hold at the border. That will cost about $200-300. Or, go the easy route and take it apart like I said earlier. Especially if you don't care for any paper work. *, the Dio without any bodywork looks l...

You could try dismantling it, and just call it 'parts'.

Re: Trying to remove wheel bearings...
I believe you need a bearing puller. Tusk makes a version of this. Basically, a slide hammer.

Re: 1994 Elite...time for big bore? Help me out!
I think the Corsa comes with a 82 main jet, but that's for the JDM carb.
...and, if you're going to spend the time to break-in a new kit, you might as well get the Corsa.

Re: Super Dio ZX AF28 and other Dio scooters
...and how do they compare to the sa50? The thing you'll notice first is how chiseled and angular they look next to the SA50. Also, the fuel tank is below the floorboard, so the center of gravity is much lower with less change in handling as the fuel goes down. Handling-wise, there is no comparison...

Re: Super Dio ZX AF28 and other Dio scooters
That's way too cool! Do you ride them and how do they compare to the sa50? The one with the Dio sticker is a fresh build, so it's only been on to test all the lights, idle, and a brief jaunt down the block. It will be going to a new home soon. The one in the middle I just dropped a new motor in, so...

Re: The PTSG official AF18e spree dio build thread
I think anything larger than a 24 is going to give you limited cruising range. As-much-as I love the extra air/fuel, I think the trade off is too great. Of course, if it's just meant to rip around the neighborhood, then by all means, use the larger carb.

Re: Jdmdio.com
The Minarellis can be tuned to make 15 hp easily, and 20-25 hp can be had with enough go fast MHR and Stage 6 topend kits. The horizontal Honda can't compete performance-wise, but the Live Dios have that certain visual appeal that the Jogs can't match.

Re: Finally...my FIRST Elite 50
If you want to go the front disc brake route, it can easily be done on the '87 Elite. Look at what Bakaracer has done in the past: http://hondaspree.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=25985&p=228728#p228728 Nice score! If you decide to upgrade the steering tree to a JDM Dio one, I'll happily don...
