Well I'm pretty bummed

I wasn't in town when we got hit, but I made it back that night. It was terrible but luckily we had very few casualties in light of all the destruction. We have rebuilt a ton but it's kind of tapered off a bit. I'm excited to be in a new place and I think I'll love Seattle as well.

where do old bumper cars go? i want one!

That's pretty sweet. And well built. I would think driving them would get a little warm due to no firewall or anything between you and the engine but where is the excitement in that? Haha. As to where to find one... I would have absolutely no Idea. I would go to a place that has then and ask what th...

Just an oddball scoot- not worth owning.... It may be an oddball scoot, but they are very rare and most all wouldn't mind having one. Though I think your record breaking aero is still more illusive; who knows, maybe even non existent. I, and I believe to speak for many others, tend to think the lat...

There are lots of places out there. The bus is great for commuting, keeps you from paying those parking fees. My wife rides the bus home from work right now, she used to ride it both ways to downtown Seattle and back every day. Like $3.50 each way or something like that. Yeah, I have looked a bit i...

Pacific Northwest Area

That's one thing that I'm worried about. I know wages are much higher there than where I live now but I'm worried I won't actually find a decent job before I eat through my savings.

Awesome, guys! Thanks for sharing! I'll be living in Seattle but I cant wait to get out and do some explorations in the surrounding areas. Now I just have to worry about my cost of living doubling and finding a decent job that can support my frugal lifestyle. Won't be moving till January so it's har...

1999 Elite Starting issues

I picked up a 1999 Elite 50 off of craigslist in the barter section for a trade of a fishing rod and nail gun... yeah, cheap! I was told that "the battery was dead and that it needed to be kickstarted." Which works great if it has been sitting for a long time. The more times you start and...

Well I'm pretty bummed

Well I'm trying to pay off my car before I leave as well. I've paid $5k in 3 months and am hoping to have it all paid off in 2 more months so I can get some savings under my belt as I don't know how quickly I'll be able to get a decent job.

Well I'm pretty bummed

Marty: that is not what I want to hear! Mike: I'm sure hoping so, but I am kind of going there blind. It's an unpaid internship so I have to find a job to boot, and it's a pretty expensive city! Haha. So I hope I can find one before I'm sleeping under the stars in a dark alley. Eliteguy: I never end...

Well I'm pretty bummed

I just sold the last of my scoots, my 1994 Elite SR. throughout the last year and a half, I have had 7 or 8 scoots that I would buy, fix up and sell or trade. It all started with a 1986 Honda Spree. As soon as I got on her, I was hooked. I got rid of them all because here in the next few months, I w...
