The Daily Chat
Just figured I would share my successful ride tonight. I rode with my buddy who owns a 125cc yamaha. We rode 45.3 miles through four towns, thriugh some scenic territory with waterfalls and the works and had no problems whatsoever. The weather was Brilliant- in the low 80s. Mh friend is pretty new t...

Yes, yours will have a variator and the Kelli will work. I have one that I'd sell you for $20.00 shipped. If interested, pm me. Also, depending on your geographic location and amount of hills you encounter on rides, 9.8 gears are a great asset if area is relatively level.

The only jet you can take out on the spree is the main jet if I'm not mistaken. Try tinkering and tuning with the air mixture and idle scre*ws.

Abuse on a moped?
I took off my helmet and hit his truck with it. :worship: You pull that off with a moving vehicle? It was before I invested in a new helmet and this one didn't have a chin strap. He was in the lane next to me and speed limit was only 25 mph. Though bear will warn me otherwise, I frequently ride one...

Abuse on a moped?
I had that happen to me once by a punk teen who just got his license. He threw a soft drink at me. I took off my helmet and hit his truck with it. Lol. Get a CCL, pack some firepower and drop anyone who messes with you claiming, "I thought he was violently attacking me and I was simply defendin...

Pacific Northwest Area
No particular area, really. Unless I get an internship that I have applied for. Then I'd be in Seattle. Other than that, I'm pretty open. I like rain and I'm more of a winter person and very mild summer person so it seems fitting. But I'm sure there is more than meets the eye. Bear, what can you tel...

Pacific Northwest Area
Hey all, I am wanting to get some first hand opinions and facts on life in the Pacific NE Area, such as climate, cost of renting a humble but nice apartment, job market, utilities, and of course the scenery. I've never visited and obviously plan to before I make any decisions but looking for some in...

Don't let one member run you off. Bear gets on everyone's nerves but that's just bear. You're a valuable asset to the forum and above that contribute innumerable amounts to the camaraderie that we have on the forum. However, if your mind is set, we will miss ya. Mahalo and Aloha.

General question on removing variator
I use an impact gun to take it off and a torque wrench to put it back on, that way I don't overdo it.

At least he had his helmet on. I've been fortunate to not have wrecked yet. Had a few close calls with loose gravel and stupid drivers buys haven't eaten the pavement yet.

Aero 50 Ruckus variator MOD help
By stock "outer half" I am assuming you mean the gear-like wheel that the belt wedges between? If so, yes, that remains stock. All I did was swap my stock weights into the ruckus vari, do a bit of grinding on the case and slap it onto the shaft. Stock pulley boss fits right in as well. The...
