Re: Smack talkers and trolls.

Maybe Bear is selling off some Aero's... Doesn't this CL post sound like him? 1984 HONDA AERO NH125 SCOOTER (125cc, 2-stroke) Honda's largest 2-stroke scooters released the Aero 125 (NH125). I've gone over on all key areas making for a near new scoot that's fun and will last. Hit's 48-52mph on a fla...

Re: Iowa Spree Lands in New Mexico

Officially confused now. In the pic below. The RED arrow depicts the spot where I found what I thought to be the thrust washer. The GREEN arrow is where the new thrust washer (ordered Honda part) sits and obviously is not right because the drive face sits too high and covers up half the "teeth&...

Re: Can you tell me about the Aero 125?

I happen to know a guy that has a few Aero 125's in his stable....

If you read the manual, ask intelligent questions and not get your panties in a bunch over "straight forward" answers to your questions then you and BEAR will get along fine.

Atleast that's been my experience. Buy it I say.

Re: Iowa Spree Lands in New Mexico

Somebody was trying to get some more top speed by removing the thrust washer and squeezing the pulley halves together, forcing the belt to ride higher. I'm sorta guessing here, but I think that when they tightened the securing nut, it actually hit on the splines and when they ran it, the whole thin...

Thanks Bear. I don't really care about the extra 5MPH, my 14 year old will probably ride it the most.

Looking at your SIG... I can't believe how many scoots you have now.

Iowa Spree Lands in New Mexico

Starting my project thread here. Well... Here she is, no title, last registered in Iowa 2006. Now I have to read up on the Iowa Spree model. Restricted exhaust right? Has all the signs of typical neglect but I was a bit surprised to find NO spark plug. The kick start is out of alignment or stripped,...

Finally scored a Spree!

Picking this up tonight from the seller. I don't believe I will be haggling because it sounded like he got "plenty" of e-mails about it and mine was the first. So... yet another Spree saved from the scrapper. Hopefully she's not locked up on the motor. Is that a petcock cover I see? http:/...

Craigslist.ca would be California to me. Here you go Bear. (see you can teach an old bear NEW tricks) Ever see a Web address that doesn't end in .com, .org, or .edu? Most likely, the Web site is hosted on a server in another country, or, the origin of business is in another country. Here's a list o...

Re: Does anyone else own a Honda NS 50?

This guy has been trying to sell an NS50 for quite awhile.

I assume either A. Nobody knows what it is or B. He's asking too much.
