Re: Aftermarket Carburetor for stock Spree - are there any?
Actually Custom you are correct. That little intake manifold restricts a lot. I remember the first time I put one of 21mm carb kits on. I was stoked. My set up was a 48mm BBK and the 21mm carb kit with no gears. My spree's acceleration was like night and day. It actually felt like I had a variated m...

Re: Stock Spree with Taz gears..RESULTS!!
d*** that sucks meatball. Crazy you cannot get this kit to work. On this forum we are no strangers to soft and hard seized but I am very surprised you could not get it to work for you. We have had plenty of members on here with great success with the 48mm BBK. Usually the only problems I have seen o...

Did you gain a lot of performance with that set up? Im just curious because you still are using the small intake mani. Seems it would be like sucking air thru a straw.

Re: Spree bbk issues.
I make sure to look from time to time at the threads. Considering how many kits I sell every year there are not very many problems with the 48mm BBK. If that was the case my feedback would suck. Thats why I sell it with directions so people can avoid mistakes. Meatball ran the bike at wot for 2 mile...

A 21mm carb and a V8 on a stock cylinder? Are you running a BBK?

Re: Af16 help please
Any time your bike doesn't idle you check the pilot jet first. It is prob clogged. Then if it is not clogged you go from there.

Re: Slow Spree
If your spree runs good without the stock air box get a free flow filter. It is odd for a stock jetted spree to run without the airbox. Did you ever re-jet the carb at one time?

I love those bikes. I had a few and they are very very zippy without any upgrades.

Re: Early Dio's/ 87 SE50 are aftermarket parts compatible?
Thanks but I'm looking for the whole mint and nothin but the mint. lol Another thing that was awesome about the mint was those 8inch rims. Great acceleration and good top end. I am curious how much taller are the mint gears compared to the razz? Did you ever put them in a razz?

Re: Early Dio's/ 87 SE50 are aftermarket parts compatible?
I think you have one of the first generation dio's that I imported into Vegas. The first generation dio(AF18) has the skinny crankshaft. You can use any BBK, CT intake, and gears that fit a AF18,AF24,AF27,AF28, and AF30. If you want to use an aftermarket variator that fits a sa50/dio then you will h...

Re: 85 NQ Spree Starter Teeth
I already talked to jaku about this. I have seen this problem before. I think its where the bendix seats into the cover. If there is to much play it will bind the bendix when it engages on the face(flywheel). I have seen plenty of spree's and elite e that will start without a cover gasket. If you wa...
