So if i'm going to put new rings on my stock 84 spree i should spring for new piston with new pin and clips too. will the seat-o-pants meter notice a little more bottom end grunt? I wish sprees were that plentiful here in nova scotia Canada, no one has every really seen one till they see mine. Lots of elites 80s and 125s but you never see sprees, the odd nc50 express or two myabe. i would love to have a couple more sprees to play with. Here you need a motorcycle endorsment to...

my stock canadian spree maxes out around 30 to 32 mph on the flats. I weigh about the same 150 pounds 160 all geared up. mine also has no problem with hills. and its blue too!

Good thing you all don't live here in Nova Scotia Canada. to get my spree on the road is costing me a fortune! $42 to register $10 change of title fee, tax because it is the first time im registering it. And I have to have a motorcycle license, that is $15 for the testing and $23 for the new license...

I got mine for joyriding mostly and trips to the store becase the comute on it would be a little long 90 to 100 miles round trip but that wont stop me once and while. I always wanted a honda scooter and now I have one. I am very pleased with it so far climbs hills no one could ever dream possible!

are those whitewall tires the stock size. I would love to have whitewalls on my spree, I would buy a second set of wheels to beable to change back and forth from my knobbies! I have found whitwall tires but they are in larger sizes and may not fit, where did you get those wonderfull whitewalls
