Yep. What tjamz said. Make sure you have the long open slit in the throttle valve facing away from you when you install it.

And you adjusted the idle screw? Have you looked into adjusting the mixture screw?

Yeah def. clean the carb, several times actually, 3rd is usually the charm. Use compressed air for jet passages. Some here have.had great results with sonic cleaners. Good luck man

Not that I can tell, looks like it all lines up to me. I asked Steve at VT for one that fits the NH80, looks like he came through.

Adjust the idle screw in for starters, also check/replace the plug if it's been sitting. Clean air filter. Check the fuel filter.

Well, all my stuff from VT Cycles arrived today. Unfortunately, since I still want to use my pump, I will have to do what Motormike did and get some pressure f i t t i n gs put on it. So won't be able to remotely finish it up until Monday when I get the intake back from the shop. Here's a few pics. ...

I'd shave a little material off the carb side of the bolt hole to allow a nut to fit, if I had the time.
