That was cool. I'd rather see go cart track racing though with genuine bar banging.

Re: How much did Spree's cost?
I actually worked at a Honda dealer back then (LeBard and Underwood). I remember buying a brand new 1982 Honda MB5 (in early 1983) off the billboard ads before that though. It was $399. The ad read: "10,500 (RPM) for $399". The bike that really had me smitten was the unbelievably perfect R...

$75 - Motorcycle & Scooter Focus Group - So Cal
If you live anywhere near Tustin and have a qualifying bike (See below, but including 2005 or newer Elite, Ruckus or Zuma)and can back it up with registration, you can make a quick $75 for 45 minutes of your time and shape the future (to me that's the coolest part). I'm going Saturday because I've g...

Re: Seller on Drugs Spree $1495
What I can't figure out is why basic mopeds around here are listing for $700 almost every day. Who's buying these at that price?

Re: Look What fell into my lap.
Yes its very rare, the only year made that had a 2 stroke engine  Dumb question, but that's to say the '83 Spree 80cc is a 2-stroke? Wow, I wants one. RZ Rob :?: That is an Aero, not a spree. They were sold in the USA '83-85 model years and 2t all three years. Doh, that's what I meant to say...

Re: Warning - eBay Loser TRMCR
I also bought a speedo from that guy. Took about a month, but I finally received it. I sent numorous emails and opened an eBay case as well. To this day, I never heard back from him. When I did get the speedo, it was exactly as described and works well. Yeah, I probably should've been patient, but ...

Re: Warning - eBay Loser TRMCR
I have the same problem. Just with a forum member. So far, I lost my money. In order for online business to succeed, there has to be a little faith in your fellow man. I'm a good person and I believe most people are. Unfortunately some of the bad people in the world pray on this vulnerability. I'm ...

Warning - eBay Loser TRMCR
Anyone here ever done business with an eBay seller by the name TRMCR? If not, consider this fair warning. I bought a speedo for my Spree and after a month I never received it. I sent him a message, I opened an eBay case, I sent him a dozen more correspondences and NOTHING! eBay simply refunded my mo...

Re: I am Glenn, I am new, and I don't know what I am dooing
My spree is a piece of crap. Unfortunately I am scared of it, I am used to the nice polite steady power of an electric engine. This itty bitty Spree, sits and sits, and then all of a suden it is off like a rocket! Power is relative my friend. I've never heard anyone use 'off like a rocket' to descr...

That's disgusting . but I'd still buy the scooter if it's salvageable. I'd be looking at the condition of the paint/plastic.bradmeehan wrote:I spent nearly 50 bucks on KFC today. Buy it.

Exactly what I was going to say. That can be fatal. Might also suggest raising the needle one clip, but since you've got a stock box to go back to, that's the way to go.bakaracer wrote:is running lean so upjet.if not you have to put the airbox back on.

Re: help w/ an aero50
i'm picking up this aero and want to make sure its not the crappy earlier version. Oh, that hurt. Mine's an '83, and it's variated with a kickstart. It has way more features than the Spree and is way better off the line, on hills, going fast etc. I like the glove box, trunk and racks too. RZ Rob ht...
