i thought 7.3 gears would make it super quick on the topend?..unless i am mistaken? You are confusing your terms. Quick refers to acceleration and lower numbered gears do not help that. Fast is top end or speed and low numbered gears make you fast if you have the horsepower to pull those gears. In ...

Is it possible to run it with the assembly still attached?

If my new carb has a single throttle cable, can i still have all of the oil pump "workings" still attached to the motor and just run premix? Or does one have to put a plug in the motor and ditch the assembly?

Im buying all my other parts from him so i just id get that one and pay the extra price since ill get it alot faster.
