Exactly the same issue. Black = read, gold = unread. Unread is the default, so if you're not logged in for whatever reason, it'll appear unread.

Re: "view new posts" empty, why?

It's because you're seeing a not-logged-in view. When you're not logged in, all topics appear as unread. Browser settings, and etc.

jkelly31 wrote:how can i tell if the oil pump is actually in working order?
Bleed the oil line from the pump to the intake manifold per the instructions in the manual. If oil is coming out of the line into the manifold at a rate of about a drop every ten seconds or so at idle, it's working.

Re: Runs great - hard starting

One other thought i had was to heat up a piece of small wire, or a "Tip cleaner" which is used for cleaning torch heads and welder tips, and then trying to melt your way through the varnished passage. I'll wager that one could engineer a custom tip for a soldering iron that would help here.

I'll look around for you. So far only found this:

Can't endorse it, but it seems to fit the bill.

Re: help???? Spree wiring

That goes to the starter motor. There is supposed to be a red/white striped and green wire coming out of the connector going to the starter. Sounds like yours is MIA.

I've been posting CL messages offering $ to haul away wrecks in central FL for this same reason. So far, zero results. Sucks.

This is not an internet forum about fairness, or rules, or mankind, or dictators. We just help people with (mostly) Honda scooters and such. Some topics get noticed quicker by moderators simply based on the title.

Re: HELP!!! GETTING THE RUN AROUND!!!

It's just about impossible to diagnose what is going on there with that description. I can narrow it down to some sort of problem behind the belt cover, and it's not the belt, as that has been replaced 3 times. Pictures might help.
