i blew my auto bystarter and oil injector pump
So i've been having a blast driving my Aero around town, when it won't start one day. I pull off the plastic to take a look at whats going on. Holy Sheet the first thing I notice is the oil injector pump is sticking out. aaaah! i push it back in but theres nothing to hold it in place. I try to start...

So it was a bad battery i guess not the R/R. I bought a new battery, my volt meter says the new fully charged battery only has .07 more volts however it does have the power to start the scooter consistantly unlike my old battery which wont even begin to start it. I dont know anything about batteries...

what has happened to my front brake, jake?
My front brake had started to feel weak. i heard it grind once and stopped using it figuring the brake shoe had worn out. Picked up a replacement shoe today and took the wheel off. messed around with it for a long time but i'm not sure whats going on here. the old brake shoe doesnt look any differen...

OK so i checked the part number and figured out i have another R/R in my spree so i swap em out. No difference. So i swap em back. I get an automatic float charger from harbor freight and i put that on the battery over night. Next day go out to take a ride take the charger off and than check the bat...

Cool man, I was able to fix the ground and get the light to work! So the problem is 6/7s of the way worked out gonna follow yr suggestions on trouble shooting the drain next, thanks much!

OKay so with help have sorted out the blinker now just have to work out the tail/ brake light.

socket getting juice

Ok got two things going on here i think. Conclusively proved the turn signal relay is bad and thats whats the deal with the blinkers. ANYONE KNOW IF ITS THE SAME RELAY AS ON THE 86 SPREE? Gonna order a new one but it'd be cool to have a quick fix while im waiting for the part. The brake light im sti...

I have tested the tailight and it is getting juice. I think its a ground fault. How can identify and fix this problem? There is a green wire leading off the battery that looks a tiny bit frayed.

Problem solved, turned out there was an unattached green wire in the front reattached it and now all binkers blinking! Thanks guys on to my AERO electrical problem hopefully it will end up being something easy like that.

the left flasher works perfect fron and back on closer inspection the right blinker just stays lit in right rear and does
nothing in the front. tryed a new bulb still nothing in the front.

spree blinker wont flash
The right rear turn signal won't flash on my 86 Spree. It just stays lit when i turn it on. Tryed replacing the bulb but nothing changed.
i noticed if i leave the right turn blinker on and ride full throttle it will give a flash now and then but not steady, weird huh? Any ideas how to remedy this?
