Re: title and registrations

I believe New Mexico is one of em.

Although I believe if you were to buy a new scooter today they would give you a title.

But you definitely don't need tags, stickers, tabs or a rubber chicken to get down the road.

Now... proving ownership is where you get into trouble I'm guessing.

Re: where to get brake cable..81 express 50sr?

I believe these guys make custom cables.. probably more throttle than brake but who knows.

Shoot em an e-mail or give em a call.

You're asking for it... you'll probably end up sucking that into the intake and doing some real damage.

Re: Eft's Urban Express build

Nice to see you back at it... I've since sold my UE and this is the only pic I have at the moment of the exhaust side. Attachment is pretty straight forward. There is one or 2 bolts below the carb and then the farthest end attaches to the fender support bracket. See pics. http://i1198.photobucket.co...

Re: No internet only a smartpone oil question

Assuming your talking about a 2 stroke scooter like the spree then YES. 2-Stroke oil designed for 2 stroke motorcycles/scooters NOT a lawnmower.

Honda GN-2 comes to mind.

Heading to Vegas tomorrow (Maybe Six will sell me a Gyro?)

Me and the family decided to take the RV over to Las Vegas after turkey tomorrow. So... I wonder if I could view the Gyro museum that 66Six is building under his carport? http://hondaspree.net/phpBB3/download/file.php?id=5927 http://hondaspree.net/phpBB3/download/file.php?id=5926 Is that 6 gyros plu...

Very nice. The previous motorcycle did retain the battery.

Here's the build website for that bike. Look for Andy's KZ400.

My Winter 2011 Project (Moving up)

Here's my project for this winter. I felt like moving UP a little from scooters and wanted a motorcycle build. :peace: Here it is - a 1977 Kawasaki KZ400 10K Miles, runs, needs carb tuning and clean up. Came with a clean title for $500 on CL. Wish me luck, I've never tuned dual carbs. On with the pi...
