Spree vs. Razz
Ok, I have a spree and a Razz. I just acquired the razz. The razz has 4,100 miles and has been beat to high heck. I think it is an 87 but that is if the plastic is original. The tranny is oil filled. From what i've gathered the Razz has the same slow single speed tranny as the spree with the excepti...

Motor swap question
Not sure if I'm posting in the correct section. The future shows me swapping my spree motor/tranny with a af05e. I think I understand the swap from the posts in the scooter build section. My only questions have to do with the upper shock mount. It was stated to avoid welding to the frame. I'm not ex...

Spree carb needle question
Went into my carb to look at what position the needle clip was set at. According to the Honda repair manual I should have a choice of 5 slots for the clip. My needle only had 3 slots. 86 spree. Does this seem right?

Re: PLease explain this
ok
so what he has is a weird boost bottle.
why not put a boost bottle on the 49cc spree? The 49cc pocketbike guys are doing it. I'm premixing my gas so why not use the barb where the oil went into the intake manifold?

Re: Done with this version of spree!
just got out of the garage doing my investigation. There was no oil in the line between the oil pump and carb. I pulled it and plugged it. I also noticed the oil tank was still plump full which I filled 3 tanks of pre mix fuel ago.

how about this motor in a spree?
Found a motor to try and stuff into a spree. Guy says the model is j1p39qmb. Is this the same as a GY6? Anyone have any experience with these motors? What would be my obstacles in trying to stuff one of these into a spree?

Re: Done with this version of spree!
went out to look at it and it started. Would this be considered a soft seize? I added oil to the gas and went for a ride. All seemed to be good. Wonder if my oil pump is putting out enough? I know it is putting out some oil. I'm thinking of using 32:1 premix gas along with the oil pump. thoughts?

just to clarify, I'm not knocking taz's bbk. I don't know the root cause yet. I applaud taz for his efforts.
