Re: JDM Honda DIo ZX with Malossi Cast 72cc.
and an update on this scooter. It has done many many cross country long haul miles on the cast iron malossi 72cc. I've changed the wheels to some nice shiny red dio alloys. A PG street sport pipe. And Paulpauly7 has retuned it several times. It's not to loud and cruises nicely. It can pull up a dece...

Re: Honda Nifty 125cc
Hi all, I can say that this project isn't going to happen! The engine parts, dio alloys and other good bits have been used for my other Honda scooters. We are finally going to get te 125cc stroker engine sorted and put it into a DJ1RR. The disk brake went into my Dio ZX project. Love me some dio all...

Help: Honda DJ1R (SE50) with Dio front end
Hi everyone, I'm about to start a new Honda project. Cool Honda DJ1RR that is going to get my AF18e 125cc stroker engine. I want to put a disk brake JDM ZX Dio front end onto it. Has anyone put a Dio front end into a DJ1RR? Or changed it to something similar? Hoping to put a complete front end in an...

Re: ****Official Picture Post...The Sequel****
Not sure if this thread is for pics of complete scooters or parts etc BUT here is a picture of my Honda Dio alloy wheels. I bought them from the Philippines, shipped to New Zealand, friend removed the bearings, I media blasted them, had them painted an extremely bright shade of orange, since this pi...

Re: 83 aero 80 transmission options?
When I went through this a few years ago here is what we did to my Honda NH80. Boyeson Power reeds #740 (You need to google it and check that number) Up-jet carb Re-weight the rollers. Everything else is standard. This derestricted the bike and made it run really well, top speed on the flat with a b...

Re: Af18/Af16e Suspension Mount Bush Part Number
Hi Ped. Yes I am well aware of that. I have some genuine Honda motor mount bushes infront of me. The lower shock mount bush is a lot smaller. Here is a picture from Partzilla (thanks to meatball) showing what I am after. Item 4 is lower shock mount bush Item 2 is the motor mount bush. I ordered a fe...

Af18/Af16e Suspension Mount Bush Part Number
Hi guys,
I can easily find the engine mount bushes for my AF18e build.
What is the part number for the small bush that the suspension shock bolts to?
Thanks in advance.

AF18/AF16e Transmission Bearing Part Numbers
I want to replace all of the bearings in my transmission for my up coming build. What are the part numbers? Does anyone have any cross referenced numbers that I can get from a good bearing supplier? What about a picture/parts manual with them all in it? Last but no least, how about the seals that go...

Re: This is why Sprees and Elites have no resale value
It's the same here in New Zealand. You can buy a brand new scooter for $1700nzd. I would rather buy a mid 90's Honda Dio for around $1000. Much much better scooter in the long run AND you can sell it for what you bought it for in 2 years time. In 2 years time your cheap Chinese scooter will be at th...

Re: Help Finding Jets For This carb Please
Further to my post, if you're in New Zealand then this website sells pilot jets.

I've only just found this after putting an order in with JetsRus BUT the local place doesn't stock #42 and the price works out about the same so its all good.

Re: Help Finding Jets For This carb Please
It's funny how we are all looking for the same thing at the same time. So I have been looking for pilot jets for my setup for ages. Honda Dio ZX, AF18e, JDM ZX carb. I took the jets out and measured them and these jets match. PILOT SLOW JET, my one currently has a stock #38 in it. But I think the st...
