Shipping Engines Cheap
I am having an engine shipped to me and the question came up about what to use and who to use. Any suggestions? I know they don't weigh too much, so I figure a good sturdy box from UPS or something like that would work.
Thanks ahead of time!

Nice buy.
I am still a member on TotalRuckus (member #12) and I haven't owned a Ruckus for 4 years. I pop in from time to time to check the "scene".
I'm sure all will say don't be a stranger!!

Re: '86 Spree Stock Build, For Now.
Okay, now the Gyro build is coming to a close, after I get my goodies for the carb that they sent out YESTERDAY  , I was thinking of my engine choices. Do a swap (choices? Yeah I know, swap in a Dio!!) or stock engine which I need front pulley, bendix, clutch/flywheel (possibly) Cylinder bored...

Re: Does anyone here do reenactments(specifically WWII)
Yeah, thanks for your service Bear. I was a couple years too young to go to Vietnam. I used to do Civil War reenacting back in Illinois for a few years til I moved to Idaho. I was with either the 8th Louisiana or the 85th Illinois Volunteers, depending who needed more soldiers. It was a good time to...

Re: Going to look @ a Honda Monkey 50 today...Thoughts?
Congrats! I see it has the original carb and petcock (petcock VERY rare), muffler, shield and stinger, ignition switch and key, rear brake rod assembly and the shifter and kick are not welded on. The tank looks to have been bondo'd, the cutout for the mini trail emblem is missing. I have four places...

Re: Morals buy and sell (what's your opinion?)
For forum members, I ship the day I receive payment if possible, for fleabay I ship within 3 days.
Yes, 10 days is way out of the acceptable range, except if the truck catches fire, your aunt dies or the dog ate your homework.

Re: Morals buy and sell (what's your opinion?)
I recently have had an unpleasant experience buying on this forum. :bs: Now, I'm not going to call out the member in the open just yet. :surprise: But, I just want to take a survey. I have traded with many of you here. When you are the buyer, and you pay do you expect someone to send the ite...

Re: Going to look @ a Honda Monkey 50 today...Thoughts?
Nice tandem ya got there, what is it? It's a 1971 Schwinn Twinn. I ended up selling for $350. Not enough room. They are HEAVY. I think this one weighed like 65 pounds. I completely tore it down, cleaned everything and had it powdercoated orange. The wife would not ride with me, so I rode it myself,...
