For the 85 Spree, can someone post a picture of where the actual fuse should be located? I looked at this one I just picked up and could not find one coming off the positive battery wire.

Re: Spree aftermarket led blinker
All four of mine just stay on. I’m not very worried about power savings I just want them to blink accordingly. What the simplest way to achieve this. I still have the original flasher relay right now.. c You can add load resistors to simulate 2 Lamps. But with today's high power LEDs the resistor d...

Re: 85 Honda Spree - petcock issue
An OEM 84-85 Spree has an M14 x 1.0 thread, an 86-87 is M16 x 1.5. Take the time to measure the petcock spigot on your tank. The fuel tank is often swapped out, and it may no longer have the expected thread size. Further, there are a few sellers on eBay whose listings say 'fits 85 Spree' But the pho...

Re: Spree aftermarket led blinker
If all four of your blinkers are flashing, the flasher you installed may be fine. The OEM flasher would not flash under the lower load of LEDs. In fact the OEM flasher will not even blink on a side if one bulb is open. -- Why do all four leds light up? When all four LEDs are flashing, it is because ...

Re: Kick Start Gears and Oil Pump Question
Second question, my oil pump seal is completely shot. The crankcase fills with oil after just a week of sitting. Should I just try to find a used pump on ebay, or is there a way to replace the seal with my current pump? I would rather not switch to premix. Worth checking before replacing the oil se...

Re: 85 Spree fuel sending unit (2 wire) on an 86 (3 wire)?
Just bought an 86 Spree and realized the fuel level float is completely missing. Is there any way I could use the 85 on the 86?... Electrically, the 2 wire 85 fuel gauge and sender are a matched set. Same for the 3 wire 86-87. The changes between the early to late Sprees fuel gauge system is enough...

Re: SA50P mix screw washer size?
1mm thick, 3mm id, 5mm od. Search the 'net or auction site for 'Keihin mixture screw washer'.Without the washer on-hand to compare it to, it'll be difficult to find a match. If it helps, the indicated washer is what it sounds like we're missing.

Re: INSIDE Carburetors
Good one and Hiya Wheelman
Awesome camera, The video title says its taken at 28k frames/sec - 35 millionths of a sec/frame . That would be 1.26 degrees of crank angle per frame at the 6000 rpm for the 2T example you posted.
Edit: Correction to 'millionths' of a sec.

Re: JW Parts Plus - RIP OFF ARTISTS- BEWARE!!!!!!
Just to let anyone know that is thinking of using them. They took my money for their so called rebuilding service and NEVER contacted me as to where to send my clutch. Furthermore, they NEVER had the courtesy to respond to any of my 3 emails! I did buy the service on Ebay so I filled a claim to get...

What is the correct torque for the head bolts? I can’t find a service manual. Its listed at 7-9 ft/lbs in Section 6-1 of the Spree Service Manual The Spree and other manuals are available here at Hondaspree.net http://www.hondaspree.net/other/Spree_NQ50_84-87_1.pdf Edit: Correct link from Honda Spr...

Re: Will an AF05 mag work on AF16?
F L Y W H E E L IRC AF05's flywheels I have looked at (Aero50 85-87, Elite 50SE) would be a non-starter when mounted on an AF16. Look at the timing difference between the key slot in the flywheel vs the raised outer surface of the flywheel that the spark pulse trigger senses. The key slot to flywge...

Re: Question about private messages
When you send a p/m, the user is notified, but the msg stays in your outbox until the user actually reads it.
Once read, the message is moved to 'sent'
Thus if the user has not logged in and read your message, or logs in and ignores messages, the message will stay in your outbox.
