Abs bodywork
1. I need to fill in a large hole in my spree plastic, about 8" inch diameter. I don't have the chunk of plastic from that hole to patch back in. How would you patch a large hole like this? I know you need the fiberglass cloth and abs glue but how would you keep the contour of the plastic over ...

Re: 80cc 4 stroke spree
ahh crap, run into a small snag. Now that I'm using the elite 80 hand controls I lost the threaded holes that hold the mirrors. I'm guessing law requires me to have mirrors in wisconsin. Any ideas how to mount my original mirrors? The only thing I can think of is to drill a hole in the speedo cover...

modifying plastics
I put a 80cc 4 stroke in my spree. I'm having problems with the plastic rubbing on the exhaust even after cutting a considerable amount off. 1. Will the plastic melt on the exhaust? 2. Is there anyway to put a "bulge" in the side of the plastic. Kind of like you see on car hoods http://www...

Re: Honda elite 80 variator questions with pictures
d*** Im confused,
If I choose to go no grease do I need the grease cover or not? Does the greese cover also double as a top speed restrictor for the ramp plate?

Re: Honda elite 80 variator questions with pictures
OEM they came greased. This is not necessary. Yes you need new rollers. if I do not grease do I need the back cover (lower right corner in photo)? No that is not needed, it's a grease cover so no grease equals no cover. Does the grease cover act as any kind of restrictor? Any benefits to running no...

Honda elite 80 variator questions with pictures
93 elite 80 variator All the rollers have a flat on them. Can these be rotated or do they need replacement? See attached photos. Clutch has an o ring along with back plate. Clutch internals are all greased. I thought scooter variators shouldn't be greased. Is this model an exception? Any suggestions...

Re: 80cc 4 stroke spree
:2thumbs: thanks, think I am going with the same thing. Why not, not much else is stock on my spree 80 anymore :thumbwink: Yes they will work with twist throttle, they attach on the inside of the bar and it does not interfere with the twisting. Re: 80cc 4 stroke spree
finished all wiring. Everything crosses over from the 80 to the spree. Some wiring is plug and play and some requires splicing along with help from the wiring diagrams. I think I'm ready to start working on making the body panels fit.....

Re: spree crank bearing replacement: help
Have a copy of the manual in front of you. you list a puller but you need 2 pullers, bearing puller and flywheel puller. Not sure if the new bearings get pressed to a certain location?? Use 2 stroke oil on everything when reassembling. Oil the new crank seals before assembly. Clean all mating surfac...
