Be careful if you go with the yellow you should get better gas mileage and get an extra 3 M.P.H. on the top end .[/quote]
I feel as though neon green will accomplish this too... haha

Re: af18 spree
I do like the yellow. Been playing around with some greys/blues/reds. Still not sure which direction I want to go.

Re: af18 spree
So winter is right around the corner and I want to do a nice paint job on this scoot. The stock plastics look in fair color condition in my other pics, but it could definitely use some improvement. Was thinkin either repainting it red and putting some white vinyl "Spree" logos on it or one...

Baka, when are the next races up here in washington at pacifics kart track? I'd love to come by and watch or maybe even bring mine out on the track during an open track day/practice day.

Re: 87 spree dio motor swap
Af18E or AF16E have a huge aftermarket following and are the ones pretty much everyone here uses. Personally, I used an AF18E. To do the swap you will need the af16e motor mount (modified to fit onto the spree frame, much info on the site how to do it), new shock mount as the wheelbase will now be l...

Re: NSR vs. YSR
I vote for the MB5!!! When I started my spree build my buddy got an MB5 soon after. Factory black/red paint scheme. Chopped the tail, cut down the seat, nice rear shocks, clip ons, cr80 motor swap, expansion chamber exhaust with cutom down tube from the motor... the list goes on. This is his build t...

Re: af18 spree
This is the exhaust: http://www.jiangwayne.com/scooter/p_i.php?i=61 Wrapped it in black exhaust wrap. The pipe actually works pretty well. Definitely happy with the power I get out of it at 7-9,000 rpm. Only downfall is its pretty loud. I like the tone and noise, but its not for everyone. Set up my ...

Re: af18 spree
Got 100 miles on the corsa now. Not as much low end torque as the 82cc, but thats to be expected. It really pulls hard once the rpms match up with the expansion chamber. Did however add an auxiliary gas tank to the floor board. Extra 1.5 gallons of pre-mixed fuel + the stock .66 gallon or so tank = ...

Re: SA50 upgrades
I have been switching back and forth between the 40 and 45 that I have. With the 40 the air screw is about a half turn out while with the 45 i believe it was best at about 2 or so out. The 48 was definitely a bit too rich. Will keep with the 45 then to play safe.

Re: SA50 upgrades
At a 40/125 and needle 1 clip up from the middle. Nice mild tune with pretty nice performance... great part... cruising at about 250F. Happy with it for now. Will probably lean it out as the motor gets more broken in. Just trying to keep the bore with a good amount of oil during the break in period.
