Re: New member from France with a 1986 Aero 50
Well hello England! :peace: I got paid by the insurance for the "incident" at the mall. 450Ôé¼ if I recall well. Now I've got to find the time to leave TT at the garage for repairs. Estimated 10/15 days cause the paint's got to dry and everthing. Almost 10000 kilometers. I'm soon going to ...

Re: New member from France with a 1986 Aero 50
How did I finish 2016? By parking my scoot at the mall. Some stupid kids took it as a target and threw stones at it. The paint job on the front and mud guard has to be redone... Hopefully no lights were broken. Just marks from the rocks on the fairing. Well, have to take everything apart again...the...

Re: New member from France with a 1986 Aero 50
A guy contacted me on a french forum of bikes because he saw my Vision (Aero's name here in France) last year. He was asking if I would sell it. He found me while searching Google images with Vision Honda. I told him I wasn't selling. He wanted a black one like mine because he used to have one as a ...

Re: New member from France with a 1986 Aero 50
:2thumbs: I'm buying some vintage looking tires while I can still find them. And mine are the original 30 years old ones too...cracked and getting used on the rear. They have a special deal on this website : http://www.allopneus.com/find?activite=2&marque=&d1=3.00&d2=&d3=10&d4=&a...

Re: New member from France with a 1986 Aero 50
It was already nice when I got it. I must admit that I drive it even more carefully now that it's new...I'm scared to crash it!

Re: New member from France with a 1986 Aero 50
Greetings: Normally I deal only in wholesome American Pounds Per Square Inch, but for you my friend I make an exception: 9.5 kPa = 1.37psi. Methinks there's something wrong with your compression gauge... Just took a glance at the gauge...it is kPa x 100 that I should have read. So, that is 900 Kpa ...

EDIT : I found it! http://hondaspree.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=681 Service manual and not shop manual for the research. :bowrofl: Merci l'ami! :peace: My laptop broke down and I lost a lot of informations and data. If I'm not mistaken, I recall downloading the shop manual from a link here....

Re: New member from France with a 1986 Aero 50
Hi everyone. Update for news : Last november some kind of a sucker hit me face on and ruined my scoot (and badly bruised my knees too). The mudguard, front face where badly broken. The chassis had nothing, neither the fork. Hopefully, the d*ckhead was insured and they paid for everything up to my ex...

Re: New member from France with a 1986 Aero 50
I don't think the manual says anything about flushing the tranny. There is no drain plug first thing...says it all. To flush it, I have to put it straight front wheel pointing to the sky and tilt it on the LHS... Thanks for your feedback. The cost of the oil change and the time it takes...I'll keep ...
