Re: Help identifying the exact model of my Honda Dio
Look at the case all the way in the back by the tire. There should be a serial number stamped on the gear cover or by it on the left side should give you your answer. Stamp will read, for example, AF16Exxxxxx, where the x's are numbers that won't mean anything in your quest to identify.

Running without the air filter or box will kill your engine. Running away sounds like its very lean, which without the above mention things should be your problem.

If that's the ramp plate you're using, it's the restricted one. You need the non restricted plate, then you'll see a difference.

Re: Noob Gas oil mixture question 49cc 2001 honda elite
Stock engine, don't worry about premix. The oiler will do its job. Some recommend a light mix in the gas tank to help when its been sitting, allowing the oiler to move the new stuff thru the lines. I recommend Honda GN2, your Elite will love it. And yes, replace the tires and tubes if they are over ...

I really like the Aero, the stance looks great. Did you cut and weld the forks to lower it? Looks to have full travel.
Do you have any pics from the back end? Wish I had a AF16, well, and an Aero.

Re: New guy top end problems.
Sounds to me to be a carb problem also. You may think the carb is clean, but clean it again making sure all the passages are clear. Finicky things, these 2 strokes.
