Technigas rs2 on JOG

How is the Technigas rs2 exhaust on the jog? Is it loud?
What is it compared to? Is anyone running it, what are you using?

Edit: I would like to run it with a Ruima 48mm bore, but might go with something else in the same bore range.
19-21mm arreche carb.

You don't need to hold any brakes when kick starting, only when electric starting.
Thank you, Must be a fuel problem then!

Re: Working on a Japan Gyro UP

The shop I normally go to for parts had two Gyro UPs out front today. I showed them the pictures from this thread , they were very excited to see Americans take pride in working on scooters!

The shop is on Okinawa, japan.

The headset and forks primarily. There are only a few minor cosmetic differences (cluster and headset, turn signal controls etc).

I bought this Japanese jog for $450 and will be tuning for streetrace. The fastest legal limit on okinawa is 80km, which is easy to hit. Of course that won't be my limit! I went with this one right here, for 450-500$ http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/2691/imag0394e.jpg http://img440.imageshack.us/i...

Re: yamaha jog build

Yeah I would love new plastics. But they are so hard to find in good condition :/

Get a friend to follow you at your top speed in a car. Thats how I find my top speed.

Im running 1tooth smaller, I think 9:1 or 10:1.

Re: yamaha jog build

LLOL!!!! I painted my jog the same theme!!!

Im repainting it though, new year, new paint.
Painting it White/Metallic Blue.

Whats your top speed with that setup, and how long can you run WOT?
I run my setup at WOT for ~20miles on the free way fine.
No cooling shroud either. Max speed ~65mph?
