Possible Bystarter?
Hey gang! Stock 87 spree with minor repairs made. (slowly but surely) Anyways, I have just replaced the clutch, belt, and tailpipe (used) and while for a short while things on the bike seemed to improve, I have noticed a recent issue with low end pickup for the scooter. I realize these sprees aren't...

A bit after the fact but I just grabbed one of these guys for around 13 bucks and its been holding up well over this past week. College student here too and I realize that 7 bucks can mean eating sandwiches for the next 2 days :) http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/GATA/7240.oap?ck=Search_7240_...

Re: Thick White Exhaust
As far as cleaning out the oil from the exhaust I'm assuming some sort of solvent soak, or the good old fashioned throw her in the fire trick?

Re: Thick White Exhaust
Sounds good, is there a particular OEM supplier you can think of, preferably one which doesn't try to gouge me with 10.00$ in shippin on a 3 dollar part.
Also what is the OP. (I'm new and learning:D )

Just noticed a bit of a bend in my rear rim. I hadn't noticed it when I was replacing the tube. Could this bend have happened through day to day riding? If so are things being exacerbated?

Thick White Exhaust
So I just replace my exhaust and muffler system on my 87 spree. Used a stock muffler purchased second hand for 30$ As I rode around for a bit I noticed I was creating a bit of a smoke screen behind me. I am leaning toward several conclusions. The first being that I dripped a little too much thread l...

Re: RED 86 Spree MAKEOVER
So currently the I modified the brake cable and now its working for the rear brake. The engine case has all of the bolts it needs. So now I just have a last few things to do: 1. Fix electric starter motor problem 2. Put Horn onto the frame of the scooter 3. Put body panels back on and turn signals ...

Re: 94-01 sa50 belt
Thanks for the advice, I'll give that a shot.
Just curious, http://www.ebay.com/itm/180652709015?ss ... 1423.l2649
I'm assuming this is the same seller, but aren't the belts advertised specs matching of the sprees requirements? I am a bit new at this.

Re: Fed. Certification Label
I have never seen one. Let them know that they are dealing with a scooter. Not a Truck! They want to know what it weighs. Stick it on your bathroom scale and take a picture. See if that satisfies them. :werd: Tell me about it, I'm about to write 160 for the total, 83 for the rear and 77 for the fro...
