Re: Pg long dyno numbers.
What's the C16 pipe that will compete with the pg long you speak of G9? Possible date for sale? Looking for a decent pipe set up on a Malossi cast, for some decent reliable power, nothing crazy high revving like the corsa/yasuni set up though.

Malossi Cast BBK exhaust opinions
Soon I'll be putting on my Malossi cast kit I got, curious on exhaust suggestions. I have a tecnigas pipe that I got, put about 100 miles on it with stock bore. Would the tecnigas pipe be good? Would a pg long or short canister style exhaust be better on this mild BBK? Anyone know what RPM the cast ...

Re: Temperature/Lean condition issue
I've tried a couple different jets now, 88 had me at temps around 375, a 92 had me bogging like crazy and I switched right away, and now a 90 puts me around 340-350, with occasional 360, so I'm between an 88-90 I guess, surprisingly a lot higher than I thought for just adding new exhaust. Low end po...

Re: Temperature/Lean condition issue
I'm gonna try a bigger jet tomorrow, 90 and a 92, I just did not expect it to be that big of a jump from just exhaust. I'm new to this temp gauge stuff too, what's a good max temp at WOT on a stock bore? I heard 400 seems to be a point where you really worry, I'm assuming 350 or something is better?...

Temperature/Lean condition issue
So as title states, I'm having an issue with how lean my scooter is. 2000 honda elite sr, stock 50cc bore, 1400 miles on it, variator gears, just installed a tecnigas pipe, I am having a hard time jetting it. Airbox is untouched, so is everything else. Stock main on an SR is 78, I put an 82 in think...

Re: Sidecar Bonneville Land Speed Elite 50 build
Awesome build! Read the whole thing, looks like a blast with a lot of hard work involved. Just saw the picture of you riding it, any possible way you could position your feet back so you can tuck more and get your head down to about the bar height? Maybe pick up another mph?
Goodluck with everything!

Re: SA50 looking for 45 mph and decent takeoff
I've got a 2000 SR, completely stock, put a variator in it, top speed was about 38ish acceleration was amazing, wheelies all the time. I wanted more speed like you, so I installed new 9.8:1 gears yesterday, my top speed increased to around 43-45 according to my gps and depending what way the wind wa...

Re: Gear installation problem
Oh alright, well I'll have to do that then, two washers on one side wouldn't have made sense, since the gear is too long I'd be wanting a thinner washer. I'll try it later and see how it works out, thank you.

Re: Gear installation problem
Alright sounds good, I'll go pick one of those up, from what wheelman said, it sounds like replacing the plastic one with metal? But I should stack the metal one on top of the plastic one I'm assuming?

Re: Gear installation problem
Alright thank you, I still have the other, have to check, just a regular thin pan washer of some sort will work? Do I replace the plastic one or add it onto it?

Gear installation problem
I ordered new gears for my elite, had the one gear pressed on as it needed to be, I just went to put it all back together. Everything is put back in the correct place, problem is when I tighten all the bolts down, the countershaft (that the clutch attaches to) locks up completely, gets really really...

Re: purple tiger 99 elite sr
Very nice scooter! I've gotta ask about the light bar on the front. I've been recently considering one. Stock headlight isn't bright enough for my liking. Is that just a cheap ebay one? And how'd you wire it in?
