decarbonizing???

the owners manual suggests decarbonizing every 2000 miles.

are they just talking about the muffler or is there more that should be done?

grand rapids , MI here, a friend of mine has a yamaha C-3 but for th most part its almost exclusively chinese scooters here.

Even though we have vespa,kymco,honda,yamaha and schwin scooters dealers in in the area illl be dammed if i ever see any new or old.

i put the cheapest gas i can find in, occasionally i might put shell gas in just to clean the pipes a bit. But thats not something i do on a regular basis.

sprees dont need premium to run and gas is expensive enough as it is. so i say for the most part why blow money you dont need too...

i get anywhere from 30-45 MPG on a tank of gas with my spree. It really all depends on how much you twist the handle after you reach 30 mph. well i can say that sprees in general are STUPID simple to wrench on.

If you have two working thumbs and a few brain cells to rub together, their quite easy to keep running and find parts for.
