Re: Polyethylene Painting UPDATE!!!!!!!RESOLUTION NOW POSTED!!!
I have had good and lasting results using bumper paint on PE body panels.
http://www.duplicolor.com/products/bumper.html
It adheres well and lasts, however, it will rub off if you attempt to do a wheelie at a stop light and drop you scooter.

Rain = Slipping belt?
I had three days of going home in the rain and now either belt or clutch is slipping because the engine will rev up but there is hardly any forward motion.
Has this happened to anyone else out there? Any ideas?
I have a new belt and transmission gasket on order.

Re: how do you transport your scoots?
I measure 43 inches from contact patch to contact patch on my Spree. The platform is 60 inches wide so there is plenty of room.Lunytune wrote:Gees, GIJoeBob, how do you fit a scoot on that thing? Looks too short. I've got a 2x4 carrier, but I believe wheelspace, even on the NQ50 exceeds that.

I use one of these.
It works great for me and it is a lot easier to deal with than a trailer.

Re: White walls
The paint showed up in the mail yesterday, so for now at least I know that the company is legit and not just scamming money for nothing. They said it would be here last Friday, but considering it came by mail and Fri/Sat were USPS holidays they had the transit time right on. My wife and I have hous...

Greetings: Dang tank ain't even dented! I thought they came that way. :) There was a time when I'd have done almost anything for that very bike. So you gonna restore or just ride it? There's not much to do to it. Some steel wool to get rid of the rust on the chrome and some new tires will get it cl...
