i have a 1995 elite dio motor i installed a 72cc big bore kit on and plan on using stock airbox and carb i am wondering what size main jet i will need to make this run good any help will be great

i got my 82 jet in the mail today so i installed it and wow its take of better and runs great it does make a diffrence from the stock 68 jet

the pump has the barrel to connect to the cable like the sr pump

u can take the washer completly out and be fine . my scooter is running great with the washer removed . it will do about 40 mph on the flat road . thats not even jetted up yet all i done was remove the washer and removed the plate from the variater i have the jet on order for it so i will let u know...

my 2001 elite s has the bracket all ready on the motor to run the split cable so u should have it as well

if u open up the air box u might wanna run a 88 or 90 jet but i would leave the air box alone and install the 82 jet for now to see how things look on the plug. take things step by step dont rush into changing everything at one time.

yea i was thinking the same thing .

i called vt cycles they said it was a keihin carb so im lost dont know what to do .

vt cycles wants 30 bucks for a jet kit for the carb .

i think that is high on the price

i went to my honda dealer today to get a jet for my scooter. when i was talking to the parts guy he didnt know what jet i needed to install i told him i wanted a 82 main jet and he ask me what kind of carb it was i told him wasnt sure . so my question here is what kind of carb is on a 2001 elite s m...

will i guess i will check and see if im running lean do to running the 68 jet.
i just hate taking the plastic apart to change out the jet .
