Re: Fuel Problem
a few things you might want to do: make sure you are running *good* oil, not just chainsaw 2stroke oil. Honda GN2 is readily available and preferred by a lot of people here. bleed the lines. if you're not sure what oil is in it, replace it anyways. take some time to clean out your gas tank, if it's ...

Re: I want one of these!
could you fab an exhaust deflector that could bolt on where the heat shield goes or something just to move the exhaust away from beautiful ladies or old tourist (not that those are mutually exclusive  ) just a thought so you wouldn't have to deal with complaints. you need a helmet with a billbo...

If i knew for sure that michigan papers would transfer to hawaii papers i would get both of these legal and send them to hawaii like nothing at all. Dude, do it. I can guarantee that they'll be legal on the islands. I had my uncle in Michigan ge...

Re: fuel line size
swap out the fuel lines to solve the headache of worrying about them, i've got the braided ones too and they run fine, but i can't imagine being able to tell if anything was wrong with them. take your "bad" petcock (or 2) and fill up a mason jar with gasoline, then let them soak for a day ...

Those effing Spreeders! Building their nests all over the place. It must've been one strong * spreeder with a net so dense it could block the airflow

Re: New Parts
when in doubt...get a part # and call a honda dealer. they will tell you if they can still get it be sure to have that part number, they won't want to talk to you if you just call and ask about Spree parts. only if your dealer is stuck up, in that case find a nicer one anyways ;) can find good part...

Re: The day I got my Elite 50 in 1987 pic
I would let me kids ride scoots if:
A) I had any
B) They weren't breaking a multitude of Ohio laws
Unfortunately scoots are considered motorcycles here so you've got to have a M class license and everything. Makes it a real bummer for all of us.

Re: Aero model number?
sounds like a plan. I've only swapped a few things and like Kenny said in another post, the mechanical stuff isn't going to be swappable, but it might be worth it, depending on the price. I might buy a part or two from you if it has it and I get the money. I need a right side fender with working tru...

Carb Tuning
OK! I GIVE UP! I've read and re-read, I've tried to filch as much information as I can from posts, but I just can't seem to get it. I'll gladly abandon my "Elite" status on the board in favor of "noob" if someone can explain just exactly how to tune a carb. Every time I do it it ...

84 and 85 Aeros are NB50M and a small number of parts are interchangeable, but mostly cables and such, not engine parts.
