Re: Shopping Spree (a long, not very entertaining story)

Adark, Nice pics, like seeing a pair of Hondas and a family riding together. Mind you the scooters were noted first. But then note Mrs S has a grip on our favorite control. A natural scooterist, I predict a day when an offhand 'I really like the Aero better, would you mind riding the Spree like fro...

Re: Project: Spree Bag Hook

hahahahahahahahahahaha. fantastic. I was expecting a long drawn out process of cutting plastic, welding to the frame, several design options, attempting to patch up the plastic. Instead, the easiest, most useful spree mod.

Only one question: was this mod bolt on?

Re: Does anyone else miss Wheelman-111?

Lies! He is not returning from a trip the 23rd. He was supposed to return, but he shall not. You see, via PMs on this site I was able to lure him to my dwelling under the false pretense that my Spree (and I quote) "went nearly 90 miles per hour with a new piston and some blue LED neons" Up...

Re: New Workspace

Excellent suggestions. I always assumed lifts would be really expensive. I'm taking out a custom desk I built pretty soon so maybe I'll mod that into a ramp and low table at a 90 degree angle so the space feels like it's own area apart from the garage and I can back bikes right up to it. I forgot to...

Re: Shakes after I put a pipe on.

Its not a bad clattering noise but its feels like the motor is pushing to hard. I went from a completly hollowed out stock pipe that was to loud and didnt give the motor the back pressure that it needed to a technigas that i borrowed from a friend. Sorry if I'm misunderstanding, but you used to hav...

scooterwerx wrote:air is forced around the head for cooling, is it coming from the left side of the engine area?
There's a shroud over the head that has a kind of scoop on it on the side with the kickstart (so left if youre on the bike) it seems to be coming from right in that area.

Spree Foam

Didn't feel like this was really a "technical help" kind of post: There's foam inside the panels and since this bike was never cleaned and apparently was bulimic before I got a hold of it, there's oil and gas spewed all over the foam. Do you guys just rip the foam out if it's horrible? Rep...

Air escaping, exhaust washer?

As you can see above /\ /\ /\ I'm not the best at titling posts. Hopefully the description helps more. NB50M (1984 Aero) Won't tune worth anything. Every day I have to re-tune the carb messing with the screws. The exhaust seemed a little loose today so I tightened her back up. Started it up with the...

Re: New Workspace

don't have a 4 color press you wanna get rid of? Unfortunately no I don't. I never bit the bullet and bought one. Too expensive. I was doing mostly single color by hand, eyeballin' every print, lol. I have a box with some used Speedball inks, some squeegees and two huge, really nice screens that on...
