Re: Honda Spree for Amputee: Faster Than Stock, Great Mileage!
Mouse. I agree with your points about this rider. He is trying to build an electric vehicle and has room for improvement. I think that anyone one who rides a scooter that can only go 30 needs all the help that they can get. He is showing us his stage 1 bike. I am ok with that. Can he go 40, I say wo...

Wearing a helmet is a smart thing to do. It is a choice that has to be made every time that I start up.

Re: Honda Spree for Amputee: Faster Than Stock, Great Mileage!
Yeah wheelguy and fastplastic. I agree it could be better engineered, but no reason to dis the guy for traveling at 7mph for a couple of miles. You or I didn't call him names, no reason for the toad be an azz. A new participant shouldn't have to hear it either. The electric spree guy could be a memb...

Toad, Please clean up your comments. No reason to call names.
I think an electric conversion merits consideration. Most of these vehicles are used in an urban environment.

That is a shame. Doing something fun, now gone.
I tend to ride without a helmet. Have known 3 motorcyclists in our area killed by deer strikes this year alone.

Re: Ped Guy tries to build a scooter!
Welcome aboard. You have great skills and good tools. Your work reflects that.
I would like to see a thread about your welding if you get time. I mig weld but don't do it often enough to have enough skill to do more than stick metal together.
Thanks.

Re: Comparing Harley dynoglide to my EliteE
Yeah a pig but a nice one. I burned my lower leg on the pipe on the rt side getting on and cooked my left leg on the oil tank getting off. I turned it around twice on our 20 foot wide roads, slowly with a leg down just in case. I think I rode it 4 miles it adsorbed the rough crp on our blackt...

Re: Scooter Fuel Injection Kit
The system needs 60 watts of power to keep it going. I kinda doubt if the charging system would be able to keep up. You can buy a lot of jets for 400 dollars. If the system had enough sensors and could learn .... would be cool.
