You may be able to get away with not having a turbo/supercharger by having a longer stroke that would increase the compression. I think the problem with having a diesel scooter is getting the fuel up to a higher enough pressure for the injector.

I will let you know what happens with my contraption. I will probably get to it next week.

Places that work on aircraft engines are usually able to bore out small cylinders. Thants where I had mine done.

When selecting a piston, you need to make sure the pins on the piston do not line up with a port on the cylinder.

How would that clog the main jet? The water would just get sucked into the engine through the carb.

Get the piston first and bring it into the shop that is going to bore it along with the cylinder. They know what to do with it.

Some have a drain plug too. My NH80 has it and it is a lot easier than tipping it sideways.
