Electric scooters are the dumbest pieces of junk... what a waste of money. We need video of one of these getting blown up, cut up with a chain saw, or burnt to a crisp.

I put ads on craigslist under the barter section and people offer me electric pocket pikes, electric scooters, etc...

I'm not bitter.

Dude! Swap in a DIOOOOOOH, SNAP!

Post by Wheelman-111 »

Greetings:

If you Dudes Swap in that Dio!, may I recommend you source a front fork that's equipped with a brake first? Otherwise might make for some mighty long skid marks. And some on the pavement too!

Most of my money is spent on scooterparts. The rest is just wasted.

Ya know what's funny? I get to work on those scoots all the time! Since business has been slow the past couple years, the shop I work at take in anything and everything out there. Kids love them! Kids break them! I can fix thems!

We mostly see the electrical control-boxes go out, battery swaps, chain de-rail-ments, stuck band brakes, blown fuses, rigged up "setups" without those "pointless" fuses, fire damage, (seriously) countless tube and tire replacement, throttle electric component failure... etc, but I have NEVER replaced the electric motors. The Chinese have those down pat.

Its amazing how much money a person will spend and never even consider the repairs are more than the bike is new.

funny stuff... :coolcruise:
