Any info on the Eve Smile?

Post by tealhatchie57 »

Hey guys.

Just picked up a 1986 spree.

I'm curious if you guys know the differences between the spree and the Eve Smile? I've been looking at a lot of pictures of sprees, trying to figure out what I want to do with it..and i've seen two pictures of modified Eve Smiles on this forum where they have been heavily modified..big engine, wheels, front forks, etc..

Just trying to see if all that stuff is possible on the spree without breaking the bank..(..don't think that's possible, tho!)..

thanks!

are you loosing your edge? that joke was recycled! (alright, it's still funny, but why not the "adam wince"?)

i've been trying to source some eve smile panels, but they rarely make it to this side of the pond. if you find two sets, i'll buy the spares. you need the sides and the taillight assembly.

btw wheelman, the round headlight is a different rare, regional part off the

Where are you located? As for the engine you just swap in a af16 block.the frontend will cost you as much as the bike is worth if going to disc brake.the wheels is same cost as much as bike. But you will have a one of a kind bike so thats priceless.

i'm w/ baka on this. the bank is broken. the front brakes are probably more expensive than a stock spree. i added up my wish list. the dollar figure is staggering. but worth it to me  i'll be like " this is my 2800 dollar spree!" and people will be like "you're on crack!"

Thanks for the replies, guys. I had a feeling you'd say that about the mods I listed for the spree..haha. I can't justify paying almost 2 grand for a ruckus or metropolitan..or other. Not for a scooter..but yea..it would probably add up to that if I wanted to make my spree like those ones I've seen pictures of.

I'm from Chicago :hi:

hmm..we'll see.

Swinging Good Usability

Post by Wheelman-111 »

Greetings:

This captures the promotional literature from the '70s-;early '80s Hondas. My own brochure contained the line: "You will enjoy the super-fine drive feeling.".

This lightweight design, easy to park even when women. Moreover, while running a race you can enjoy a brisk, scooters and have a swinging good usability. I like easy-to-park women with swinging brisk usability...:D

The width of 0.59m with slim styling, plenty of floor space and, further large-scale adoption of low seat, and that can be relaxed riding posture. In addition, by adopting the link to the Ministry of anti-vibration engine mount, which delivers a comfortable driving.
That's the job of the Under-Secretary of Engine Mounting here in the US. Department of Transportation, Division of Vibration Isolation.

The pages are Google Translate J'English from the original Honda news releases, so don't blame Honda-san for that  .

However, the Ministry for Anti-vibration may be monitoring these posts so you'd better not be shaking in your boots.

On second thoughts, maybe that's why Japanese quality control was so good. I think I'll send a letter to the Chinese Embassy suggesting they form a Ministry for Anti-thinplastictabsthatbreak.

The Oracle of WheelPersons relates:

This lightweight design, easy to park even when women.

AHAHAH! LOL!

Now I finally know WHY that durn bike was named for the grinning progeniter of the female gender.

The nicest feature on the JDM EVE SMILE is the rear high skirt. It looks great with a DIO motor mounted up. With a nice AF16E setup, you will have a full unobstuctive view of the engine and also ease of access to the engine.

I have a couple JDM EVE SMILE conversions in white and red. Very hard to find in Japan. Especially if you're going full conversion with the EVE SMILE tank and rear tail lights.

It is worth it if you can find a set. Even in Honolulu, Hawaii these conversions are very rare and sought after.
