Is this the first BBK you've done? You have to post progress. I'd like to put one on one of my rides.

Amazing. I've got a pile of new parts and kits on my workbench, and my scooters just sit there. Maybe the key is to put them in my pocket?

EXACTLY ! Put them in your pocket and give it a try , a backpack will work also but you will not get as much top end !

I tossed the BBK on the Razz I just got rid of with double base gaskets and tried it, bullet proof.

the freakin machine shops (what few we have) around here wanted $65 just to mill the head out to 44MM. I had the extra gasket and it made perfect clearance, no erratic noises or any of that good stuff.

I just thought of it when I dumped those heads I had off at the junkyard this morning - I should have sold them for like $1 a piece to someone who can bore them, but oh well.
