Interesting grey market scooter on ebay. I have seen several of these including a genuine DIO for sale in Florida- makes me wonder if they are coming from Cuba or Puerto Rico.
The engine has the split trans cover- is it a dio style engine?

No direct Tact experience. However a 1987 Japanese Domestic Market SE50 variant called DJ-1 also had a split cover, despite decidedly AF/05 internal anatomy. Honda had lots of different versions of almost every part in other markets. That belt cover design on that engine is Gold. Lets you run an open clutch without hacking.
My only problem with an Asian or Euro-market scooter is the difficulty it presents in obtaining a title to run legally here. There is likely not to be a US-recognized VIN number, so you can't easily/legally bolt on a license plate. However those cutaway plastics sure are attractive in terms of both looks and ease of tuning.

Ask the seller what the engine code is on the trans cover. looks like its a af09 body and exhaust.
