doesnt the E have the SB motor and the S and SR have the SA motor? also and i could most likely be wrong but i "think" the E has the non variated motor. like i said i could be wrong on both counts.

An Elite E is non-variated but is slightly faster than a spree. cooler styling too :imo:

Hondasan likes to really confuse us. A while back, shucks maybe a year or two, we got into the discussion of what is an A05E and what is an Elite. Well... Lots of confusion. The Elite E is an A05E, but it is non-variated, and more similar to the Spree... but not quite. And then the early Elite SA, 89-93, had an A05E, but variated and nothing exchangeable with the E or Spree. And then the 94-01 Elite SA/SR had the AF16 powerplant which is a whole new animal. As I remember, the SE has same setup as the 89-93 SA

I think it happens every year
The elite E will be a single speed and most likely slow (30mph top without installing a BBK) because you are in Iowa. If you have the non Iowa model then 35mph is possible with lots of tuning. It will feel like the little electric scooters at wal-mart compared to your jog or even an sa50. It will be lighter than the sa50 but then you won't be as comfortable on the E either.

check the other thread: http://www.hondaspree.net/phpBB3/viewto ... 96&start=0 for some more detail.

No, it is not worth that. It is worth little more than a spree.
