How do i bleed the oil line from the pump to the minfold?

Pull it off and it will flow. DO you want to drain the oil tank? You could just use the oil line for that.

Greetings:

The purpose of bleeding is so that the engine doesn't run for a few minutes with only air being pumped into the barb - the time it takes for the pump to fill the tube. You can use any sort of syringe - a bulb-type ear-dropper from the drugstore or hit up your local Heroin addict for leftover hypodermics. Wear rubber gloves. :wink: Lots of kids' medicines come with measuring syringes too.

Suck up some of your favorite 2-stroke oil and plug the syringe at one end of the pump-to-manifold line. Squirt until it comes out the other end, then use a deft finger to retain the oil in the line while you plug in the lowest-lying end of the line, then the other. Presto! When the pump starts working, the engine will immediately start receiving oil.

and for everyone on this forum that doesn't clean the oil strainer that gums up= wow look at that oil flow now :surprise:
