I have purchased several items from scooter assassins.

Always smooth transactions, not one problem ever. :thumbwink:

Why the bad vibe?

Gut feeling website is frumpy. The freebie they promised last week has not showed. Nothing exactly, I just really liked the LED plate bolts in skulls for my virago. Better price than the Ebay auction so I went for it.

Taiwan is far away, calm down.

Stuff usually takes about a week. Sometimes a little longer (like a week and a half at most)

Scootass answers his PM's and emails promptly, and seems OK to me.

His website is very SLOOOOOW, but it is a problem he is trying to deal with.

He hasn't added them yet. The drive face is already only $24 (awesome price) and the discount would only be about $2 - $4 off that.

I think time will tell whether or not scooter assassins is a good seller or not.
:imo: scooots is a welcome addition to this forum.

Why not ask first before buying from the site if you had concerns? It'll take longer than 3-5 days, USPS does 2-5 for first class mail within the US.

Minimal risk my order was only $10. But, good topic to discuss though. I'm on here to enough to have heard something about them but, not much. Too bad most of it was bad.
