i know the bike says "no passengers" right on it...but would it be legal if you made pegs and a longer seat?

i realize you're asking about driver foot pegs...just throwing in passenger pegs instead of starting a new topic.

if it were me, i'd do something like this.

then there's always this route.

this is what the ruckus riders have. basically goes over the top of their fuel tank...but im sure you could fab something up that just went over the support brackets.

fightingplankton Thanks Thanks Thanks .
Great pics and has given me some good ideas .
And yes I was going to use them for passenger pegs .
You actually solved one of the problems .... raise the pegs / I was worried about leaning into corners and have a peg catch some pavement
but raised up looks like it would solve the problem .
Thanks again for your response .
Here is some pics why I need the pegs .

maybe not the best idea...but, when i was contemplating doing it..i was thinking about how bicycle pegs are.
there just round pipes w/ a hole in the middle for a bolt(some of them are threaded i know)
so like i say...when i was contemplating it, i was thinking "hey, i can use where this top bolt holds on the exhaust on the right side and just run a longer bolt thru bike pegs. and on the left side...same thing, but it would have to mount to one of the bolts that hold the case cover on...didnt feel comfortable w/ this half of the idea considering those are tiny little bolts.

I was actually looking at that myself . Thanks again for the leads .

Hey Toad I used regular old Rustolium (gloss sunburst yellow )
Got it at wal-mart and got the 25% bonus can same paint/ same price just bigger can ... Oh and I also used rustolium filler primer as I was trying to get some of the scratches in the plastic not to show so bad .
Back to the Foot pegs ...

GO AHEAD AND LAUGH .... here are some mock -up pics

Thanks again fightingplankton after looking at the photos you sent it,s just getting easier and easier , and might even work .
I did some mock-ups and will try to start tomorrow . I might try to talk Richdavidson into doing some welding ?

Greetings:

I can't tell from the pics whether or not those pegs fold up. Solid-mounted pegs can impose a risk of levering the tires up and off the pavement upon ground contact at full-lean. Contact is more likely if the pegs lie outboard of the already limited cornering clearance. Beware.
