i just bought a spree in Craigslist but the owner didnt have a title .so i dont have it ;(
if it is a moped can i just get moped license . SO i can on the road?

you will need to check with your local DMV and find out the rules reguarding 49cc's some states do not require registration or a special license to operate. send them an email

More than likely you should have a title and current dmv tags on a licence plate. I have been pulled over several times for no current tags and havnt had it towed yet. Just get insurance on it and the cops will be impressed you have insurance on it and will be nice. Unless you were speeding, but that's hard to do on a spree.

I've got an '85 Spree that's reg'd as a moped here in CA. Just did the paperwork at the DMV to transfer into my name with no title the other day. It cost me a whopping $18.
