I replaced it last year and it fixed all of my idle and bogging issues. The issue was that the vac line was leaking and fuel was going from the petcock straight into the intake and flooding my bike. I know it was leaking due to sucking on the line and a mouth full of gas.
Now I installed a clear vac hose on this new one today and I get a tiny bit of fuel in the line, only small bubbles. But the bike has a very small bogging issue and it idles a tad rough.
Your thoughts?

There is usually some fuel bouncing around in the lower end of the vacuum line. As the vacuum pulses in the intake, some of the fuel gets pushed into the line. As long as there is no fuel at the upper end then the petcock is OK. One way to check is to install a long enough line to put a loop up high and if fuel puddles in the loop then the petcock is bad.
