Its looking like a runner. Rig something up for the exhaust support until a parts shows up and ride while searching for the rest of the parts. It won't be very visible and will save your ex-pipe or muffler from damage.

Nope, those are vented to the atmosphere. Stock carb has a short hose with an elbow.

Gyro cylinder base gaskets

Post by siggy »

Gyro cylinder base gaskets are now shown as discontinued from Honda. Must be a recent event as I'd ordered some a few months back without issue.

I am in the process of re-building my last Gyro and thought why not take advantage of the rear taillight .
it has a place where the turn signals would go so why not use it ?
I got some old taillight bases ,then drilled out the holes where honda probably was going to put the turn signals .
Then I used some aluminum tape on the inside for reflection .
Hooked up some test wires .... Done !
I hope to not use the amber turn signals and just use these and the wiring is already there will just use the stock wires & connectors .
Or if it looks too goofy hook the left & right up to the brake light .

This was made for turn signals There is already a divider to stop light leaks . and you can see where to drill the holes. You can see on the right side where I put the tape .

That's super 66Six  I've long looked at the US taliight assembly and noted we got everything but the Red and Amber lenses that JDM RoadFoxes have. US back plasitc has had filled in holes for the turn signals, JDM parts have openings for the turn signal lamps.

$1500 is just a tad to much. i'd say more like $1200 only because we have a fully restored gyro the chevyguyjay did and he sold it for $1500. realistically i think khe could have asked $2000.

Does anyone know what other Honda or other engines use the same reed valve as the Gyro? I'm pretty sure I need new reeds.

I think some of the old spree's use the same valve. I thought you could still glet the reed valves though.

Sorry - while the Sprees have 2 petal reeds, they are different assemblies. The reeds as well as the block are different.

RED LIGHT CHANGER I always get stuck at red lights and with a scoot it's not enough metal and weight to trigger the signal lights .
I was in a bike shop and noticed a RED LIGHT CHANGER for around $ 20.00 so I took a look at it , it was just a magnet in a fancy box .
So I thought make my own and with the money I save I could go to the bar and get messed up then not worry about getting stopped at a red light .
I just made it tonight then went to the bar and sure enough the light did change was it coincidence ?
I don't know ?
