Should I change the rear wheel to a Met on this Elite?

I've read here that many have done that and reasoning is that a larger footprint will be more stable at higher speeds.

I saw some references to some aftermarket rims but didn't see where people were buying those from.

It is up to you if you want to change the rims.
what you have now is fine.....I thought the goal was 50MPH
I have rear met rims on my scooters that go over 60mph.

Yeah, 50mph was the goal before but now I've caught the bug....just can't leave well enough alone!

Anyplace in particular to get a Met rear wheel or is it just watch the classifieds here and pick one up?

How about aftermarket?

I put a met rim on a stocker just because of the tire options. There are several more tires in the 90/90-10 tubeless class than in the 2.75x10 tt class. It is not always a speed issue.

Thanks eliteguy50 - I hadn't even gotten that far (tire selection) in thinking about it yet. Definitely something to really consider.

I see looking at a few sites that a new rear Met wheel runs around $75.

I'll need to do a search of the classifieds here and see what comes up.

The paint color is the only difference.
