Gyro is not a very good candidate for trying to look like a "gangstuh"
Leave it alone and enjoy the perfect stance it already has, or get yourself a ruck and make it 10 feet long.

I just mounted up 2 new tires I got from www.tires-easy.com. They are lawn and garden tires, but they are not cracked and worn out 27 year old Dunlops either. Look them up under lawn and garden, 5.30 by 6 rim. They have 4 choices. I got the tires, delivered, all in for just under $50. My local Walmart doesn't carry this size. Maybe I need to look in the suburbs, but this way was way easier and I didn't have to drive all over and I really like that I didn't have to go into Walmart.

Now to get the cylinder bored out to 44mm, and get a piston. Tazland told me he's out of pistons right now. Anyone got another source? Otherwise I guess I'll wait.

OK I guess I am still on the re-do Gyro front end .
Well I bought 2 front ends today but they came with an ATV rear end and a Express rear end .
The big problem is every time I get a bike it always runs or almost wants to ...
Why can't I find a Honda with a seized engine or better yet no engine ?
Life would be so much easier .
Now I am starting to price a set of tires for the ATV .$$$
Yes a little starting fluid and waa waaaaa weaaaaaaa runs strong as does the express .
What to do ? What to do ???
Anyway here are some mock-ups on photoshop ...

OK then there is an Express front end as well everything looks like it will match as all of the forks are a little over 7 inches where they attach to the frame I really think this could work .....

OK i was messing around and was thinking I do have an extra Gyro frame .
If I did this would it still be a Gyro or and ATG. ?
But still with almost a 200cc engine hmmmmmmmmmm ?
And yes the engine would sit a lot farther back so the front would still tilt ...

So tell us 66SIX,...is this a direct bolt-on :?:
What is the distance from pavement to footpeg for both the stock bike and the modified bike :?:
How does the steering differ :?:
Do you feel way cooler now :?:
What are you using for headlight :?:
Will you sell me the PA 50 :?:
Will you bring it to me :?:
I love you, man

[quote="motormike"]So tell us 66SIX,...is this a direct bolt-on :?:

:surprise: Yes almost a direct bolt on / you need to cut and grind the back of the forks
the lock holes don't line up . no biggie ...

What is the distance from pavement to footpeg for both the stock bike and the modified bike :?:

:surprise: Distance from pavement to foot peg spoke wheel is 10'
Gyro front end is 9' so your only talking an inch ...

How does the steering differ :?:
:surprise: Steering I tried to take it for a test run got 5 " then it died

Do you feel way cooler now :?:
:surprise: Much so

What are you using for headlight :?:
I chopped a front gyro fork long ago I was going to put different headlight on one
so I still have the old mount and signal mounts so some plate steel and some welds
it will be great... as I will make the plate bigger so I can add toggle switches later or I phone
and cig lighter or drink holder or fuzzy dice .

Will you sell me the PA 50 :?:
:surprise: It's too much fun ... was riding it today
Will you bring it to me :?:
:surprise: Thats probably not going to happen ...

Here are some things you might want to consider :
You have to use the Express handlebars which are shorter ...
You will have to make mounts for a headlight ...
as for the speedo I am not sure how accurate its going to be ?
the gyro forks look a lot stronger so if the express snaps I will know why .
Also put a sheet or something on the ground to catch the ball bearings when they start falling out after I was all finished I found 1 bearing on the ground ... Oh well ?
spoked wheels should have been an add on from honda .

Oh the brake cables are very different
