If asking about cross between TG50 and NN50 parts, sorry- the NN50 tucks the cable splitter box up under the front leg sheild.

Throttle and oil cables are not a problem to fab up. I've built up an oil cable and a throttle cable. Other members have too.

Just to let you know, I bought a cable that said it was for a gyro, but the housing was too short. Measure yours, the full length of the cable, the length of the housing and anything else you can measure. Last I looked the dimensions aren't in the Gyro wiki. I found several suppliers of chinese scooter parts had a pretty large collection of cables. Maybe one will fit.

Hello Gyromaniac
I know what your going through .
I had an 85 Aero that had a split cable the housing was round ,but matched up to my Gyro perfectly .
It was a while ago I think I had to do some mods but it works great , now the only problem you will have is trying to find an 85 Aero 50 cable (split )

I also found a place Scrappydogs that sells split cables again I have made them work it just takes some mods.
Here are some pics.
Please if you try this do it at your own risk ... you will have to do some mods
The cables are also not the right size they are longer a lot better than too short .

Again do this at your own risk ...

Good info to investigate on cables 66Six. I've been meaning to measure the TG50 throttle cable for the 'wiki, but have not torn into one that far for too long...

There's a TG50 carb cover on eBay right now. I am not planning to be in on the pool. Jump in, snipe or just watch, part like this is always interesting - Link to Carb cover

are any of these pistons dished like the gyro's piston? also will the fact that some are oversized make a difference, like, will i have to do any modification the the jug like overbore?

If you are bent on having a dished piston, 84/85 Spree are dished. I've had no issues with the dome head on the two I've done.

0versize 0.25 and 0.5 piston/rings are for when your cyl is damaged or worn past stock size and will require cylinder machine work.

Has anyone ever thought of reproducing the carb cover and selling them?
