Forward airbox and perimeter r bolt cap. Without a doubt, that is the H. Minarelli.

Your luck may have continued. That Top pipe is quality you might even have a Top Trophy bore kit on there.

Cool, I saw a few videos on youtube of the pipe. That would be awesome if this had a BBK of decent quality. When I looked under the bike in the dark and saw the pink I was thinking this cant be stock, but I know nothing about these other than what the manual states (which I have read through almost 3 times already). I need to clean the carb, and change the gas. Currently it only will go about 30 mph and wont hit high rpms. Also it will not run with out the choke on, I am thinking other than old gas, the jetting may be way off as well. I also feel the rollers shift up way too fast. on the stand it sounds pretty healthy and revs quick. Faster than my AF16 Dio that is dialed in with pipe and BBK.

Thanks guys, I will look into the carb hopefully tonight. I planned on getting into it last night but I had to fix a friends little 250 ninja. That hard to work on that bike knowing this one needs to be tuned. I have been checking into jetting on some other aprilia forums but have had no luck finding a basemap/ rough tuning guide for the 70cc BBK. Any insite would be nice. Now with this being water cooled it is probably not as easy to tune off temp readings? I would assume since it will probably tend to run cooler. Later, I am terribly late for work!

Also keep the airbox not an open filter.. Alot easier to tune with pretty much same performance and less noise

I bet this is why it will only run with the choke on full, is probably not getting enough fuel from the idle/ slow jet because of all the varnish and other nastness inside. The intake tube also has cracks, I need to get one on order.
