Previous owner came down here gerg.
Wrecked it enough to bust up the front plastics, and scare him to park it for 2 years.
Damage seems all cosmetic, and I got the old panels to fix and ride.
Mirrors are the one item that are totally gone, and expensive....:(
needs right side engine guard that is under plastics...crumpled the old one (gone)...it's not too costly $$
This only has 15K, and these are good for a whole bunch more.

That's okay supra & pauly....Honda went for a chance at developing a market in the White Collar crowd.
They didn't RUSH to the dealerships either... :bowrofl:
I could say the same about the Bugatti Veyron....
We all have our own opinions about style.
I will be the first to agree that this whole concept of shet-loads of plastic covering everything including the handlebars was destined to alienate the traditionalists. The Gold Wing had long been established as the Touring King, but didn't seem to be appropriate for the guy who wanted to commute to the office in an Italian suit.
I wont be doing any commuting, but I WILL be traveling this year to destinations that my NS50 and Aero 125 just simply wont handle. The Pacific Coast is a finely crafted and amply powered moto that will serve my needs comfortably. You both may have noticed that "motormike" is not your typical, milk-toast, conformist and will rock to the beat of a different drummer.
I respect your rights to express your own opinions here...I'm not offended, on the contrary, I'm glad to know that my choices are based on my wishes and not being determined by the opinions of the masses who tend to line up and follow the examples of today's trend-setters. Heck, if I did that, my pants would be down to my knees, my teeth would sparkle with gold, and my ears would be tucked into a cap with a bill that appears to have been run over by a semi-truck.... :urban:

Greetings:

I too have a soft spot for the many Charms of the PC 800. It has something of a cult following, even if it never broke any sales records for Honda-san. Most of the Traditional PC owners hug trees, eat only Macrobiotic soil, and wear socks with their Birkenstock sandals. You and your blue-smoke cloud-draggin' scooters will be an anomaly in that crowd, too. Good on ya, Mate!

...I know I've said it a few times before, but this time I think I've found it: my "finished" stage...
Yeah dudes, my beloved NS50F is actually near completion!! There's been many changes since I last posted pics, and after this last small upgrade install, I can call my 'baby' complete.
-And I'm quite proud of 'her.'

My last upgrade involves a new OEM CBR250R radiator. My Japanese buddies swear by adding more cooling to the little NS / NSR, so I took them up a level and instead of "stacking" 2 NS50 radiators together, or finding a used radiator that somewhat fits, I took a month to research Honda's long list of radiators and their mounting methods. Not an easy task... However, the CBR 250R radiator is perfect. Much larger area and capacity, looks 'stock' and shiny aluminum.

So, completely new engine / pipe equals a powerband that comes on like a light switch, and a completed stopping system that stops on a dime... I can't wait for Spring to come!

Motormike; I honestly love your PC. It screams "Motormike." Very nice find and purchase, dude... If you love it, I love it... And like you said - you can go places (interstates) that Ruby and friends dare not go. Smart choice.

I'll be in touch about the upcoming rallies, definitely sounds like fun.
You know what I need?? ANOTHER NS50F to wrench on.
As much as I want to ride my NS, i will definitely ride, but I'll never ever park her. like
Such as if I needed something inside the gas station, etc.

I need a "beater" NS for a daily-rider. Hmmm...

Later guys, jon

hi Jon, figuring that you might be looking for another NS, and I just got word from my wife that we will be moving to Japan in May, would you be interested in picking up mine ? I am sure you will take care of it and make even more unique. Problem is I am in Hawaii. If you got family or friends here to come inspect it and get someone to crate it, that would be great. Figure that into the price and make me an offer. ( I PM'd you but got no response )
