Re: Does anyone else own a Honda NS 50?
I think Bubba is more out north/west of us towards Kingston Springs. I have yet to see him ride with us or the Scootnashville crowd here locally, but he definately rides the Suches, GA "True Grits" event.
I bet if we contact him for a "Nashville Shifty 50s" ride (NS50) he would join in on it.
Harrrdy,
Got the new CDI bolted up and running?

Re: Does anyone else own a Honda NS 50?
They don't show up often on Ebay, and this one is far away up east. That said it looks like a nice one with a few days left on the auction. I don't know the owner, just posting it here FYI.

Re: Does anyone else own a Honda NS 50?
Looking for a front break cable. Anyone have a spare or know what's compatible?
Re: Does anyone else own a Honda NS 50?
I hear there is a guy in town that can rebuild cables with new wire. I don't have a phone number but I bet Motomike does. Hopefully he will chime in.
Re: Does anyone else own a Honda NS 50?
Yeah Nick, CMI is the business name. <256-6781> Located @ 1110 4th av. south, left side, just past the old city cemetery. Look for the motorcycle on a pole. The owner is Ray Dey (dye). The cost can be salty I hear, but the quality A-1. Surely there is another cable that is available and will apply without difficulty. I'll text you if I find something... ...Nashville Shifty 50's

Re: Does anyone else own a Honda NS 50?
NS stolen in Nashville from my shed. They knew what they wanted. There was a clean mb5 & 2004 Triumph w/ keys in the ignition next to it. The NS didn't have the key.
Please be on the lookout for parts avail in the Nashville or greater middle Tennessee area.

Re: Does anyone else own a Honda NS 50?
I was just talking with MM about this sad new development. THAT SUCKS your bike got stolen! It it were me I'd print up about 100 flyers and drop them on folks door steps within several blocks in every direction from your house. Maybe mention it's very small motorcycle that sounds like a chain saw and perhaps offer a reward... These bikes stand out like a sore thumb so you would think it's been seen around IF they got it running. This is assuming the crooks are local which is probably the case as they might have seen you riding it around and watched where you stored it. That said I'll probably be meeting up with the Scooter group tonight and I'll spread the word to be on the lookout...
