A fellow scooter enthusiast here in Halifax has a problem as you can see from the pic. Anyone have a GY6 150 long case? I'm thinking it could be welded. Any thoughts?
This happens to a lot of GY6 ruck builds. That's what Chinese casting gets you. This one is not nearly as bad as the numerous swing arm snaps I've seen. And to think this could happen at 65mph easily with a 150cc.
Stay Honda my friends.

He just ordered a new motor from a Canadian supplier. Got a real decent deal too. I'm looking at the pic and I notice that the mount that is broken has one bolt on either side instead of the usual Honda one bolt through both mounts on the motor. Would the one mounting bolt be a better idea? I'm thinking it would distribute the load over both of the eyes better.
U can buy the engine case for 60 as for the gy6 and stiff shock comments i have run multiple gy6 and solid rears and have never broke a mount and have also put 10,000 miles on my current gy6
The rear cases also dont crack if u either run the full cvt cover or a axle brace
